Pet Airways Sponsors The Ikeler4000

We are delighted to have Pet Airways as a Sponsor for the Ikeler4000 Round The World Record Setting Flight! This airline specializes in carrying pets-only to their destinations around the United States. Many people find this service preferable to having their pets shipped as cargo, as they are, on conventional airlines.
When I was a student in college, a professor remarked that we were getting the true "Beverly Hills Education" as we could buy the class notes service and get notes from our lectures even if we didn't show up. I bought the notes, and also took notes, and read all the assignments too. He said student life had come a long way with word processors and note takers and old exams on file to aid in our education. I'm sure today though, thirty years later, the professors notes are all online, old exams are all online and everything you need to know to get an "A" is online too.
Well now pets get a piece of the Beverly Hills lifestyle! They have their own airline and are the only passengers in the main cabin of each flight. They have their pet specialist flight attendants, customized meal service, and potty breaks too. What more could a jet-setting pup ask for?
I think this is a wonderful service and I hope this airline does well. Pets are not cargo and should not be left in the hold with the baggage to see if they make it on an air flight across the country. Dogs and cats deserve the best and this airline is their to provide it for them! Welcome Pet Airways. We are delighted to have you with us. See their site at http://www.petairways.com/

Mission Progress And Movie Debut

This week we had the privilege of adding more great sponsors to the Ikeler4000 homepage. One of our sponsors is movie producer Mark Grady who's movie, Blaire's Bridge, opens today September 19, 2009. The movie is based on Mark's book of the same title. We wish him the greatest success with this release! Mark is a very experienced pilot and you can check out his web site at http://www.websterfallsfilms.com/ If you can't make it to the movie, you can order his book online at http://www.markgrady.net/
We are getting closer to the exponential part of the sponsor s-curve as I can see and feel the interest. Moving out of the early adopters phase and into the early majority phase will take us to rapid growth and funding to complete the mission and flight. The late majority follows quickly thereafter and we should have all needed funding with in a few months. Tell your friends to sign on now, as top of the page placement gets the greatest attention.
We are pleased that we are able to help other great and worthy causes, like CarolAnn Garratt's Dash For A Cure http://www.alsworldflight.com/ to bring one million dollars to ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) research. We are also pleased to be helping Alley Cat Allies http://www.alleycat.org/ in their mission to help stray cats find homes and reduce the stray cat populations through spaying and neutering. I did work for many years for their organization at my Cat Hospitals of Denver. They are great people with a great cause.
I will continue to update everyone with mission progress reports as they develop. Thank you for your interest and support.

The Wing And The Wave

With daily news about the economy, the question becomes, "What lies ahead?" Well, a certain amount of "shakeout" is on the horizon, which in the short term may make things look glum, but in the long term, we are entering a five thousand year cycle of global prosperity the likes of which mankind has never seen before.
The Egyptian mega city of Cairo achieved revolutionary domination in progress five thousand years ago, in 3000BC. They did it with two simple tools. The pencil and the wheel. The pencil, and it's variations, produced the written language so that complex information could be stored and transmitted to other people. The wheel, and it's variations, produced the capacity for transporting people and large and useful goods around Egypt and around the world.
We have come a long way in five thousand years, but fundamentally, we have not progressed until now. The two new inventions that will carry us for the next five thousand years are The Wing and The Wave. The wing, and it's variations, will make most all transportation aeronautical, with autoplanes (like the Ikeler4000) replacing our automobiles. This will bring about an exponential increase in the speed and efficiency with which people and goods move around the world. We already have this today to some extent with commercial airlines, but the future will advance aviation technologies like you can't imagine.
The wave, that is the electromagnetic wave, as in radio, cell phone, and communications waves will transform our knowledge and information transmissions exponentially above what has ever existed in the past. Even my blogs and web sites are read and viewed around the world which only the most prestigious publications enjoyed the privilege of getting a few decades ago.
The wing and the wave are the key technologies for the global economy and transaction systems that will emerge to unite us even in new forms of global government that we have still yet to develop.

The New 80 Year Economic Cycle And The Ikeler4000

The last Great Depression occurred exactly 80 years ago. Wonder why the economy is so bad now? It is because the fundamental trends that drive our economy work on an eighty year cycle. You might think "How can time be a factor in our economy?" It is and it is inter-related with human demographics, life cycles, and technological innovations.
In the "Roaring Twenties," the economy was driven by automotive advancement, telephone technologies, and electricity being brought into every home. In the "Roaring Nineties," computers, the internet, and cell phone technologies drove the economy. Wonder what the next eighty years will be driven by? Automotive technologies, lead by the Ikeler4000, telephone technologies that converge cell phones, computers, and the internet. And biomedical technologies that bring human health to a new standard of living where a hundred years becomes the average lifespan.
Want a peak at the future? The last seven years have produced the Ikeler4000 flying car technology. The next seven years will be spent bringing that technology to one percent of the market. The seven years after that will be spent achieving a ten percent market penetration. Forty two years from 2002, in 2044, all cars will be flying cars! Or at least 99 percent of them. It will be the greatest revolution in transportation since the invention of the internal combustion engine!
You might say, "Wait a minute, these flying cars aren't even in dealerships yet." Well they will be and Innovation S-Curves predict their arrival and can even tell you when half of all cars will be flying cars, in 2023. Still scratching your head? Well, keep scratching and then hold onto your hat! The future we have all dreamed of is just around the corner!

Seeing The Unseen

In my years of business and practice management consulting, I came across the phrase, "In the land of the blind, the sighted man is king." I really got what it meant as I often times wondered why people don't see things or get problems that are right in front of their faces. My favorite experience in the land of the blind was one time in veterinary college. We were given the assignment of figuring out how to differentiate the third, fourth, and fifth cervical vertebrae in a cow. The amazing part is the anatomy specimen was right there in front of everyone and we had unlimited access to it. To my surprise, I was the only one out of 120 students to solve the problem!
The transverse processes of the vertebrae get broader as they go from third, to fourth, to fifth. Even the professor asked me how I figured it out. I said I just used "objective observation", a fancy way of saying I looked at it. There weren't any awards or prizes given out for solving this problem, but it did change the way my classmates looked at me! Their lens of perception had been changed.
My own lens of perception is already changed and has probably been different from the start. When I took flight instruction, I noticed my classmates were completely focused on how to fly the airplane. I was focused on how the airplane could be made better and actually have some utility, other than being able to fly to another airport on Sundays to get a hamburger at the other airport's restaurant.
Seeing the unseen is the core innovation strategy that has brought the Ikeler4000 to it's present state of development. Completion and future innovations will make it even change the world of tomorrow!
